Angel Food Ministries is our major outreach to our community.  It is a "hand up" not a "hand out" and a way to "Help the family food budget."  Food is ordered once a month at the church, on Wednesdays 6:15-6:45 pm, before service or on Sundays 12:00 noon-12:30 pm, after service.  There is no qualifying.  The only requirement is to pay when you order.  We accept cash and/or EBT Food Stamp cards.  You may also order online using a major credit card or a bank debit card.  See link.

Angel Food is distributed between 9:00-10:00 am the Saturday immediately following the Deadline for the month.  Please bring a box or a cooler to take your food home.  The food arrives in cans, packages, some frozen items, some just refrigerated, in every variety you purchase in the grocery store.  It is all excellent condition and fresh, not out of date, etc.  There are easily recognized brand names you would be familiar with.        

Each monthly menu contains a Signature Box of food which will feed four people for one week.  The food contents change monthly but the price of $30.00 per box is a value of $60-$75 in local food stores.  Also available is a Convenience Box, food low in sodium and fat, packed in TV dinner style and perfect for seniors or people on the go who value nutrition and convenience.  The Allergen Box of food contains no gluten, peanuts, or milk products, the most common allergen offenders.  The purchase of one of either of these three boxes makes you eligible to purchase one or more Specials.  The Specials, like the Signature Box change monthly but usually include:  a chicken special box, a meat special, a grill special, fruit and vegetable special, and a seafood special box.  New menus are  available after each month's distribution.
